IRVING, Texas - Aug. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Pillar Hotels & Resorts, one of the largest hotel management companies in the United States, announced today that it has added 36 properties to its portfolio throughout the first six months of 2014 including 27 select-service, six extended-stay and three full-service hotels. Additionally, PHR Construction, Pillar’s in-house project management team, has completed more than $49 million in renovations and upgrades so far in 2014 in collaboration with InterMountain Renovation Consultants (IRC). Another $68 million in projects is slated for the remainder of the year.

Of its recent portfolio additions, Pillar gained 23 Marriott branded properties and nine Hilton branded properties, including the full-service Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing – both located in Branson, Mo. Pillar also began managing the full-service Four Points by Sheraton San Francisco Airport, conveniently located across the street from San Francisco Convention Center, just 1.5 miles from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and nine miles from downtown San Francisco.

Additionally, Pillar Hotels & Resorts was recognized with the Marriott Spirit to Serve Award for Community Service, presented at the annual CFRST Owners and Franchisees Conference in May. The Spirit to Serve Award recognizes its recipients for demonstrating company values through employee volunteerism, in-kind and cash donations, and various community service initiatives.
