kicks off their 2014-2015 fundraising season. The Welcome Aboard offers a chance for military spouses to gather in a festive atmosphere and network with each other while learning about area businesses, resources and volunteer opportunities.
“This is a great event to reconnect with friends in the military community and learn about options for personal and professional development as well as community service. I will be able to share information and resources needed to ‘Get Switched On’ to a portable career as a Virtual Assistant (VA) as viable option for military spouses.” said Melissa St. Clair. “As an entrepreneur and Marine Corps spouse, I value the flexibility of being a VA given the unique challenges of frequent moves and the distinct demands on time for military spouses.”
