CHANDLER, Ariz. - Aug. 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The League for Innovation has announced a call for proposals for the Innovations conference, in Boston, MA, March 8-11, 2015. Innovations is the premier conference for professionals dedicated to improving organizational teaching and learning, and discovering new approaches for enhancing the community college experience.

This year’s event will take place at the Boston Marriott Copley Place, centrally located in the Back Bay district, just minutes from historic Trinity Church and Boston Common, and perfectly situated near numerous shopping and dining venues.

Innovations provides opportunities for colleagues to showcase model programs, share lessons learned, and experience a wide array of new ideas through ten conference streams: learning and teaching; leadership and organization; workforce preparation and development; student success; basic skills and developmental education; resource development and foundation management; research, assessment, and accountability; diversity, equity, and inclusion; sustainability; and open educational resources.

Proposals for the following presentation formats are requested:

·        Forums are one-hour breakout sessions featuring a successful practice, innovative program, or timely issue related to student or organizational success.

·        Roundtable Discussions are one-hour sessions that afford a personal and interactive setting for the exploration of key issues related to a conference stream.

·        Poster Sessions are one-hour visual displays among which conference participants move freely.

League Alliance (http://www.league.org/membership/allimembers.cfm) and other community college representatives are invited to submit a proposal. League Corporate Partners (http://www.league.org/partners/partner_with_the_league.cfm) are also encouraged to participate as presenters and exhibitors.

Presenters are required to register and pay the conference registration fee. Honoraria and expense reimbursement are not provided by the League.

The deadline for submitting proposals is Friday, September 26, 2014.
