PRLog -- Jessica Simpson and her fiancé of three and a half years, Eric Johnson finally tied the knot on July 5th. This perfectly planned wedding was long expected as the couple has two children. This celebrity couple selected San Ysidro Ranch in California for their wedding venue.
Jessica chose to wear custom designed dress by Carolina Herrera (Carolina’s designs are worn by many celebrities)
. The designer worked with Jessica to create a breathtaking gown. This A-line wedding dress was a multi-layer tulle gown in champagne and gold colors. Dress featured strapless style and gold embroidery. Details included a cathedral length veil and a blue ribbon inside the gown (of course to fullfill the need of something blue). The bride had rose bouquet to complete romantic scenery. Shoes were designed by Brian Atwood and jewelry by Neil Lane. The groom, Eric Johnson wore a custom charcoal gray John Varvatos tuxedo.
For her special day Jessica asked her mom, Tina and her sister, Ashlee to be maids of honor. She also had 12 bridesmaids!
Bridesmaids wore mismatched, formal dresses. Jessica said: “I personally can’t have all of my girls in the same dress”. Dresses were created by multiple designers such as Marchesa, Jason Wu and Temperley, Carmen Marc Valvo and Herrera. To accomplish that, Jessica’s friend and stylist Nicole Chavez helped out with colors and different styles to match each girl’s personal style. Everyone at the wedding (275 guests) was excited for the couple. People gasped watching beautiful, emotional bride walking down the aisle.
