Net income of $3,545 millions in the second quarter 2014 increased by 13.15 % from net earnings of $3,133 millions reported in the second quarter 2014 a year ago. Although operating margin fell to 21.39%, in the second quarter 2014, the company's net margin actually improved to 9.78%.
