Futboard, the app made for every football player in the world

There are more than 255 million amateur players in the world waiting for their stories to be told. The Futboard app is an excellent tool to track, share and organize the lives of amateur football players, teams and leagues.

Aug. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- Berlin, August 4, 2014 -Futboard is a mobile app that will allow amateur players to track, share and organize all data with regards to their football life – from goals scored to actual-time spend on the field, from weekly games to all-time wins, from interaction between teammates to easy connecting to and organizing a team or league.

The Futboard app will make life easier and more efficient for everybody involved in amateur football – players, teams, leagues, coaches. Today there are not really efficient tools available to get organized.

“I always thought that football is simply about a few players and a ball; which proofs right for playing in the neighborhood.” Says Jördis Deutschmann, CEO of Futboard. “Once I started playing in a local club, I realized   I spend as much time answering phone calls, updating excel tables and commenting in a blog about training sessions as I spend on the field. This was annoying,” she admits. “Once my friend Diego Berjón called me to ask for help on an amateur statistics tool, I answered, that this can only be a starting point: what amateur football really needs is an organizing tool.”

Thus, Futboard was born.

Football life is usually based in three different “hierarchical” levels – the individual player, teams & leagues – and for all three levels Futboard offers specialized features to track and organize the game of football. At the same time these three levels are independently usable and smartly connected with one another.

We want to make football about YOU!

The situation of the more than 255 million amateur players throughout the world is quite anonymous. They are confined inside their neighborhoods, playing in their local leagues and tournaments, lacking all kinds of exposure and interest from media, brands and sponsors.

Futboard will bring relevance and visibility to every game and it will tell the stories behind. The name Futboard actually comes from the Spanish word “futbol” and the English word “storyboard”.

“One thing we know for sure at Futboard: We want to make the app about what matters most to users – not investors. With the crowd funding campaign starting mid-August on indiegogo we want to make every single player out there a part of this project,” emphasizes Diego Berjón, co-founder of Futboard. “We want to make the app as great as every player’s passion for the game.
