People Experts secure contract with leading independent insurance consultancy Jelf Group Plc
Leading independent consultancy Jelf provides expert advice on insurance, employee benefits, healthcare and financial planning for businesses and individuals.
People Experts secured the contract to provide outsourced recruitment solutions for the company’s 33 offices located throughout England and Wales. Jelf’s significant growth spanning a relatively short period influenced the HR team’s decision to centralise its recruitment activities.
Historically Jelf’s new recruits were introduced through regionally appointed recruitment agencies. This was often a costly and fragmented process. The other disadvantage of adopting the agency model is that client identity remains hidden from the potential candidate at the point of the initial application.
Jelf’s HR team not only wanted to reduce costs and streamline the recruitment process but they required a dedicated point of contact for all the company’s hiring managers. They also wanted to bring the Jelf brand to the forefront of any recruitment activities.
