Haul Out gets it done without managers as July revenue rockets to record high

PITTSBURGH - Aug. 4, 2014 - PRLog -- 1-800-Haul-Out Pittsburgh, a full service removal, demo and haul out company proves again: a hero can be anyone. With no traditional management structures in place Haul Out Pitt is breaking all the rules as associates reap what they sow. Company revenue hit an all time high in July and was up 2,086% year over year. In the last 75 days the team of Haul Out Heroes in Pittsburgh completed more in revenue than all of 2013.

How did this happen? Haul Out Hero Josh Schulteis a.k.a. "Hot Rod" had this to say about the companies performance, "The difference is the people and enviornment. I have never worked somewhere before where everyone in the company communicates so openly and directly with each other. If something isn't right-we have the power to fix it. We don't need to ask to speak to a "manager" or approve something with a higher chain of command to act on it and wait a week or two to get a decision. If we need to act-we act."

Since January 1-800-Haul-Out has been operating under a new flat lattice team based organization. "Think of a football team ... or a firehouse" Josh said. "That's the kind of culture we are aiming for and it works-it just does. I love it here. I've never worked with a better group of men and women and our performance is evidence of the respect we have for each other and the company."

Haul Outt Pitt also introduced what it thinks will be the single greatest investment for the company- a new savings incentive match plan for it's associates. The company will match 100% of it's associates savings who ink long term agreements to stay with the company. "This instantly puts us in the top 1% of employers in terms of savings incentive match plans." Justin Ogden said. "Typically a company will pay 2-5% as a match, but we understand how valuable we are to each other. We operate this organization like a family, and I always take care of my family."

"What is truly remarkable is how we were able to come together and grow despite injuries, associate vacation time,  and still being so young and new together." Chris Juran a.k.a. "Juranimal" said. "I am really proud of our team, but I told them yesterday at our weekly business plan review ... we are not done yet. We've still got a lot more potential." Josh jumped in, "July was a record for us-I challenge the team to do better."

Alphonoso Jones a.k.a. "Scar Face" said, "July was a watershed moment for us. I personally learned how to operate a bobcat with a grapple from another associate while teaching demolition to two new associates sponsored by Tony "Teasure Master" Barnes." Sponsorship at Haul Out Pitt is every associates right, they can sponsor any new associate at anytime and after a certain period can be voted to stay by their fellow associates. Just evidence of another way the team based structure is working. Al said, "We've got a team here that is much greater than the sum of its parts ... and it feels great to be apart of it."
