Chicago Festival Welcomes Inspirational Recording Artist Tina Jenkins Crawley

Chicago's own talented Singer/Songwriter, Tina Jenkins Crawley, a spirited powerhouse of a vocalist who is a part of The Blacksmith Project family of artists, is set to perform at the 2014 Westside Music Festival held in Chicago, Illinois.

CHICAGO - July 31, 2014 - PRLog -- The Chicago Westside Music Festival is FREE and will be held Saturday, August 16th at Garfield Park (corner of Jackson and Central Park Avenue) from 12:00pm CST to 8:00pm CST. The Festival brings with it a wide array of sponsors and family friendly fun.  This years Festival will have an amazing line-up of artists including headliner - Platinum R and B Group "112", also performing is Brownstone.  Some of "Chicago's Own" performing are - Teresa Griffin, DJ David Shields, Aryk Crowder, Aniba Hotep and the Sol Collective, Charles Buddy Love, Cha`s, La Obra, Norris EJ, Em Jai and Tina Jenkins Crawley. This event will be hosted by Kenya Simone of Soul 106.3 FM.

Tina has performed all over the world and will definitely captivate festival participants with her inspirational melodies.  She is currently in the studio working on her second album. Tina's manager, Alex Griffin, is now looking to book her for for acoustic events, full production concerts, conferences, camps and worship services. The Chicago Westside Music Festival (WSMF) seeks to create a series of musical concerts that are FREE to the community and that establish the Westside as a destination for music and summer festival fun, drawing audiences from both local and citywide communities.

In our inaugural year, the WSMF formed a partnership with the Chicago Park District, Parkways Foundation received a grant from The Chicago Community Trust to support the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of the Chicago Westside Music Festival.

The Chicago Westside Music Festival was created to fill the void of cultural programming and outlets on the Westside of Chicago.
