Coach Juli Announces Last Chance for College-Bound Freshman to Take Part in Informative Webinar

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- SANTA BARBARA, CA – Coach Juli Shulem, PPC, CPC, is offering one final webinar in the month of July for college-bound high school graduates. The webinar is entitled “College… You’re Not in High School Anymore!” and will take place on Wednesday, July 23 at 6:00 p.m. (PST).

“Coach Juli,” as Shulem is known, calls on her 30 years of experience as a professional ADHD productivity coach to teach students some of the lesser-addressed areas of college life. Shulem describes the webinar as students’ “last chance before heading out to college and life to learn the things you don’t know you don’t know.”

“Working with students, primarily college level and beyond, gives me an up-close opportunity to hear what’s happening and the problems encountered consistently among those heading off to college,” says Shulem. “For this reason I created a webinar which launched this summer. This one-hour seminar online will dispel some of the secrets of college.”

Topics to be discussed include:

Setting up and organizing a living space, and dealing with a roommate for what may be the first time in their lives

Learning the tools to organize a schedule on their own

Taking responsibility for their grades, their lifestyles, and their bodies, and finding the right balance between all three

Things to do during the summer before their first semester to further prepare them for their college years -- and life beyond

Shulem’s previous webinars for college-bound students have been met with great success. One student, Norma Z., found Shulem’s advice about healthy roommate communication particularly inspiring. “I also liked when you suggested we should have an agenda or calendar, and write down our classes, our study time, and other important things -- then to color-code them!” writes Norma Z.
