WSS Celebrates Opening of Two Stores in One Day with LA Baseball Legends

LOS ANGELES - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- WSS®, the premier neighborhood footwear retailer, is hosting two grand opening events simultaneously on Saturday, Aug. 2, 2014 to celebrate two new store locations. The events will be held at WSS’s new Sunset & Western store (5525 W. Sunset Blvd.) and its new Pico & Western store (3101 W. Pico). Both celebrations kick off at 10 a.m.

The grand opening events will feature a $5,000 (retail value) check presentation to both Los Angeles Elementary School and LeConte Middle School for much needed supplies; a raffle for prizes such as autographed memorabilia from baseball legends, gift cards and other specialty items; ribbon cutting ceremonies with civic leaders; vendor booths with giveaways; interactive baseball games and the Big Shot Photo Booth – the biggest selfie camera on the west.

Additionally, Los Angeles baseball legends will be on hand at both locations for a meet-and-greet and autograph signings. The Sunset & Western store will welcome Ron Cey, Fernando Valenzuela and Jamie Jerrin with vendor partner Sketchers®. Jay Johnstone, Manny Mota, Steve Yeager and vendor partner Puma®, will be on hand at the Pico & Western.
