Marylebone Estate Agents Sandfords Herald Success of the 2014 Summer Fayre
July 30, 2014
-- Once again, Marylebone estate agents Sandfords was delighted to be part of the Marylebone Summer Fayre on Sunday 15th June. It was wonderful to see so many past and present clients enjoying the sunny weather that we were lucky enough to enjoy. Every year Sandfords estate agents runs the popular tombola on behalf of the Howard de Walden Estate, raising vital finds for good causes.
Sandfords' staff took a welcome break from property for sale in Marylebone to help out on the stall, as well as give out 1000s of free boxes of popcorn outside our office at 6 Paddington Street. A big thank you to the Sandfords team who gave up their time for free to be part of such a fun and fulfilling day.
This year all the Fayre's proceeds - over £2,000 - were donated to the charity Kids Company - the organisation set up by Camila Batmanghelidjh to help vulnerable inner-city children. It's a charity whose work we greatly admire, as having four offices across Central London makes us acutely jest aware of how difficult family life in the capital city can be. If you'd like to know more about the fabulous work Camila and Kids Company undertake, please visit kidsco.org.uk.
The annual Marylebone Summer Fayre attracts tens of thousands of people - not just from the local community but from across London, who visit the Fayre to support good causes and also lap up the village atmosphere that Marylebone is so famous for. It's just one of the reasons why property for rent and property for sale in Marylebone is so popular.
"A Central London location doesn't have to mean a loss in community spirit," says Sandfords' Managing Director Andrew Ellinas. "Many people start off by looking at houses or flats to rent in Marylebone but love the area so much then soon turn into owner-occupiers. Every day we're helping people in their search for property for sale in Marylebone (http://www.sandfords.com/property-sales/properties-for-sa...
) as they've had a positive taste of the local atmosphere. Whether they're Summer Fayre regulars, people new to the area or longstanding residents, the trend is to become a permanent Marylebone resident."
