Marpak Pass BRC A-Grade Packaging and Packaging Materials Standard

LEEDS, U.K. - July 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Leeds-based polythene packaging manufacturers, Marpak Extrusions, have successfully passed the BRC A-Grade Standard for their packaging products, adding to a number of global standard certifications.

Marpak are considered one of the UK’s leading polythene manufacturers, creating premium grade extruded products that are used by multinational corporations across the world. Their specialty is to develop premium film for protecting pallets in storage and transit, and are continuing to develop new innovative product lines every year.

Part of the drive for improvement includes achieving global standards, and the BRC A-Grade will improve their standing within the food industry in particular. The BRC Packaging and Packaging Materials standard is the first Standard to be officially recognised by the Global Food Safety Initiative.

The BRC A-Grade Standard proves quality in food safety as well as proficiency in supply chain management. This stamp of approval comes from highly trained auditors and certification bodies, who only accept the highest of standards. This is consistent worldwide, and is considered one of the ultimate recognitions of quality and competency.
