The ColorBash 5k comes to Cary, NC
Autism Society of North Carolina partners with NR Road Racing for a colorful 5k
We take the Color Bash 5k to the next level. You will get completely covered in colorific dust with friends, family and silly strangers, while focusing more on the fun color and participating in the 5k course. Doesn’t matter how fast or old you are to participate in the color bash. The different colors are 100% natural and safe as you can eat the stuff if you want but we don’t suggest it. Wear a white shirt and prepare to get covered in color. At the end of the three mile course stay for the after party that will have music and even more color!
The ASNC works with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families daily providing advocacy, training and education and direct care.Autism is the second most common developmental disability affecting 1 of every 70 children born in North Carolina. There are over 60,000 NC families impacted by autism. The mission of ASNC is to provide support and promote opportunities that enhance the lives of individuals within the autism spectrum and their families.
“We are thrilled that the ColorBash 5K has joined with the Autism Society of North Carolina in our mission to improve the lives of individuals with autism and their families,” said Heather Hargrave, ASNC Associate Director of Development. “Plus, we know everyone will have a great time at this unique event.
