The ColorBash 5k comes to Cary, NC

CARY, N.C. - July 28, 2014 - PRLog -- NR Road Racing will hold a ColorBash 5k on September 6th, 2014 at 9:00 am to help support the Autism Society of NC. The event will be held at WakeMed Soccer Complex (201 Soccer Park Dr. Cary, NC 27511). Race registration is $40 for individuals and $30 per person for teams of 4 or more. Prices will increase $5 on Aug. 22nd. There will be a $50 walk up registration fee. All ages are welcome, however, anyone 12 and older must be registered.  If you are not interested in running, we strongly encourage you to volunteer! We take the Color Bash 5k to the next level. You will get completely covered in colorific dust with friends, family and silly strangers, while focusing more on the fun color and participating in the 5k course. Doesn’t matter how fast or old you are to participate in the color bash. The different colors are 100% natural and safe as you can eat the stuff if you want but we don’t suggest it. Wear a white shirt and prepare to get covered in color. At the end of the three mile course stay for the after party that will have music and even more color!

The ASNC works with individuals on the autism spectrum and their families daily providing advocacy, training and education and direct care.Autism is the second most common developmental disability affecting 1 of every 70 children born in North Carolina. There are over 60,000 NC families impacted by autism. The mission of ASNC is to provide support and promote opportunities that enhance the lives of individuals within the autism spectrum and their families.
