Medicare Supplement Insurance Association To Add Agent Listings

LOS ANGELES - July 28, 2014 - PRLog -- July 28, 2014 -  Insurance agents looking to hear from consumers seeking information and Medicare Supplement insurance cost comparisons can now be added to the online directory hosted by the American Association for Medicare Supplement Insurance.

"We concluded a yearlong evaluation and the participating insurance agents reported hearing from consumers and several inquiries resulted in sales," explains Jesse Slome, executive director of the Association, a national trade group focused on creating heightened awareness.

The organization added the Find An Agent online directory that enables consumers to search for insurance professionals in their state.  "There are tens of thousands of consumers visiting the American Association for Long Term Care Insurance website each year to find information and long term care insurance costs," reports Slome.  "We conducted the evaluation to see if there was similar interest in Med Supp before deciding to expand the listing."

The American Association for Medicare Supplement is a national organization that advocates for sound and responsible planning and conducts the only national conference exclusively focused on Medigap markets and products.  The national organization is headquartered in Los Angeles, CA.

The Association recently announced plans to offer free streaming of select sessions from the 2015 Medicare Supplement Insurance Summit scheduled for April 14, 2015 in Orlando, FL.  The free broadcast will be streamed live by Virtual Insurance Conferences and Expos with access made possible by four leading insurers.
