SEM Link launches STEMport Parent Group

OAKLAND, Calif. - July 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) through its Math and Science Career Academy will launch the STEMport Parent Group in August 2014. The STEMport group is an online platform that provides parents with opportunities to attend webinars, obtain resources and connect with other parents on various STEM education topics. Educators, community leaders and STEM professionals that are interested in STEM education are also invited to join the STEMport group. STEMport launches with its monthly Twitter Chat on Tuesday, August 5 at 4:00-5:00 pm PST (7:00-8:00 pm EST/6:00-7:00 pm CST/5:00-6:00pm MST) with the hashtag #STEMport on SEM Link twitter page (@semlink).

The STEMport program will also include a monthly webinar and resource list sent via email for paid subscribers. The subscription fee is $10 per month. Individuals can sign up for the STEMport program by completing the online form.  "The STEMport program is a result of your feedback of STEM education supporters.
