DIT Releases the Hydra RD3U Family of 3U Multi-Head Displays w/Integrated Keyboard Drawer

OCEANSIDE, Calif. - July 29, 2014 - PRLog -- With the release of DIT's new Hydra based RD3U family, users have more features and configureable options to choose from than ever before. This new RD3U family consists of two different 3U high platforms; the RD3U-F20172W which is only 20" in depth and the RD3U-F24 which is 24" in depth.  Both units come with an independent keyboard drawer which can be configured with a variety of different industrial and rugged keyboard/pointer options.  They also share the same impressive underpinnings, such as; lightweight Aluminum construction, integrated MIL-Grade steel friction slides, gas support struts, infinite positioning torque hinges, 4 point stow-and-go locking display modules, modular back for easy KVM or other I/O implementation, and a single OSD button board which can control one or all panels simultaneously.

The RD3U-F20172W offers an exceptional amount of capability within it's extremely compact 20" deep frame.  It mounts in racks from 20" - 28" using the supplied telescoping arms.  Which makes it the ideal solution for rugged transit case installations.  It offers support for 2 to 3 - 17" Wide 1920x1200 (WUXGA) LED backlit LCD screens, with the 2 screen/dual configuration available in left or right open orientations.

Two controller options are available:
V144a - VGA, DVI-D, S-Video, Composite, and YPbPr
V17Aa - VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort

Additional enhancements include:
Resistive Touch, Projective Capacitive Touch (Center Screen Only), Optical Bonded AR or ITO Lenses, DC Input, MIL-Grade Power Connector

The RD3U-F24 features a longer 24" deep frame and mounts in racks from 24" - 32" in depth.  The RD3U-F24 offers similar functionality as the 20" by providing support for 2 to 3 - 17" Wide 1920x1200 (WUXGA) LED backlit LCD screens, with the 2 screen/dual configuration available in left or right open orientations.  In addition, with it's larger footprint it also supports the use of 2 screen/dual 19" 1280x1024 (SXGA) LED backlit LCD screens* available in left or right open orientations as well.

Three controller options are available:
V144a - VGA, DVI-D, S-Video, Composite, and YPbPr
V17Aa - VGA, HDMI, and DisplayPort
V15x - VGA, DVI-D, HDMI, Composite, and YPbPr
The V15x is a premium grade solution which also provides digital Picture-In-Picture support and offers optional support for 3G HD/SD-SDI.

Additional enhancements include:
High Bright Daylight Readable LCDs (>=1000NITS), Resistive Touch, Surface Capacitive Touch, Optical Bonded AR or ITO Lenses, DC Input, MIL-Grade Power Connector
