Sam Benson specializes in helping seniors downsize their homes. As part of his commitment to the Walnut Creek community, Benson is now available to speak to groups on the issues of real estate and financial abuse within the senior demographic.

I wanted to make myself, and my knowledge, available to senior-based groups to help encourage healthy conversations and provide tips on what to look for in any real estate transaction, regardless if the senior is my client or not,” said Sam Benson.

“My main concern is education. If a senior is looking to downsize his or her home, I want them to know what to look for and what is customary within the real estate market. I don’t want someone to feel taken advantaged of and I urge family member involvement when appropriate,”

Benson’s Senior Sessions also addresses home repair scams that are often tied to the real estate market.
