Local businesses showcase glamour and style at The Beauty Bar!

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - July 24, 2014 - PRLog -- South Bend, Indiana - July, 24, 2014 -The Brick, a new South Bend event venue, is partnering with local businesses to introduce, The Beauty Bar, an upscale event for adults over 21, incorporating beauty services, stylish merchandise & accessories and fine food and drinks.  The event will take place on Thursday, July 31^st from 6-9 p.m. at The Brick (1145 Northside Blvd, South Bend), and will showcase the services of many innovative local businesses, including featured partners in this event: MichaelAngelos The Event Company, Restoration Style, Camellia Cosmetics, Salon Rouge, Flourish Boutique, and Selah Day Spa.

Tickets will include a cocktail and organic appetizer, access to beauty and fashion services, including opportunity for express massage, mini-manicure, and makeup session, hair and skin consultations, American Espresso Catering coffee samples, as well as a casual fashion show by Restoration Style featuring clothing by Flourish Boutique and Doncaster clothing line, and photos of the evening, provided by Great Day Photo Booth and Anderson Photography. Also included is entry to the grand door prize of a Girls’ Night Out for four to the new Rocky River Tap & Table, complete with hair and makeup styled by Salon Rouge for the evening. Additional door prizes will also be offered.

MichaelAngelos The Event Company will deck The Brick with decor, adding to the cosmopolitan feel of the evening. In discussing the beauty services offered, Rebecca Maalouf, Camellia Cosmetics store owner adds, “Every woman knows the feeling of arriving at an event only to realize you played it too safe with your party look. The Camellia Lip and Lash bar adds just the right amount of glam to feel party perfect. We love the feeling of making women feel gorgeous for the night.”

Additional local vendors collaborating in this first time event are local massage therapists: David's Hands, Massage by Tamara, Erica Werner, Me Irish Hands, and Southside Massage Retreat, as well as local jewelry designer, Ali Oesch of Ali on the Boulevard, Tu Sei Bella Dance Fitness Studio, ProShow Professional DJ Services and Specialty Rentals, and, from nearby Michigan, The Organic Gypsy food truck. Andrew Skipper of WNDU will emcee the evening's events.

The Beauty Bar at The Brick in South Bend takes place on Thursday, July 31, from 6-9 PM.
