The Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation Announces the Higher Education Life Preparation

DAVIE, Fla. - July 23, 2014 - PRLog -- July 23, 2014, Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, -- Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation (CKSF) is launching the Higher Education Life Preparation (HELP) scholarship, which quizzes college and university students on facts they should know before they graduate. Due to the success the scholarship had the previous year; CKSF has the decided to bring back the scholarship for the 2014-15 school year.

There are two HELP scholarships available. The first is during September to December, and the second from January to April, with a new quiz beginning the first week of every month. HELP quizzes are separated into two categories. From September 7^th to December 14^th, college and university students will be quizzed on career facts, with topics ranging from majors to job searching. From January 7^th to April 14^th, students will be quizzed on financial facts, which range from information about taxes to questions about credit and loans. CKSF’s website (www.cksf.org) contains all of the quizzes, as well as helpful cheat sheets with all of the content that will be on the quizzes.

CKSF is an organization located at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, that offers financial help to students of all ages and grade levels, despite their GPAs. This non-profit organization does not require essays for their scholarships. Instead, scholarships are awarded based on how quickly and correctly participants answer the questions in a quiz. Quizzes are scored on time and accuracy. Five hundred points are given for every correct quiz question, with one point being deducted for every second it takes to answer the question. Not everyone will automatically know an answer, so it is perfectly fine to google the questions and get 500 points for answering correctly.

Each college HELP scholarship ends with a $500 award to the winner, with the result of each quiz released after participants complete a quiz. Scores from each quiz are added together for each participant for a total score. The top 25% of scorers will then move on to compete in the championship round. After taking the quiz, the quiz results and student rankings will be posted to the results page on www.cksf.org.
