A short note about Home Health Aide

Home Health Aide (HHA) is to support patients with healthcare needs at Residents (private home) or assisted living facility as facilitator. Home Health Aide has to spend a certain number of hours each day or week with aligned client to provide personal care and housekeeping service. Home Health Aide (HHA) is entry level position in healthcare field.

Certificate training program will cover:

Ø  Introduction with Home Health Services

Ø  Understanding of patient and patient care

Ø  Home Management and Nutrition

Ø  Managing safety & security

Basic Requirement:

Ø  18 years or older

Ø  Authorized to work in the USA (Valid resident & work status)

Ø  Have a High School Diploma / GED and Good command on English language

Ø  Zeal to work in Healthcare profession

Ø  Becoming a Certified Home Health Aide

To become Certified Home Health Aide one has to….

Ø  Undergo exclusive training with theory and practical lab training as part of study program

Ø  76 hours training includes 60 hours classroom and 16 hours lab training

Ø  Clear the exam to become certified Home Health Aid.
