Drone Startup Flyral Imaging Launches In Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - July 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Local startup Flyral Imaging launched on July 2, 2014. Flyral will provide drone imaging and marketing services to the Mid-South. Founded by Memphian Aaron Jaffe, the company is the first of its kind in the Memphis area. At launch, service lines will be related to real estate, sporting events, farming, real estate development, movie/film, tourism and emergency services.

Many commercial drone companies focus on a specific industry or service line, however Flyral welcomes all business opportunities at launch. “We are using a hybrid business model with a variety of service lines in order to serve a larger customer base in the Mid-South,”said Aaron Jaffe, Flyral Founder. “At its core, Flyral is really a marketing company- for now though, our drone expertise gives us an enormous competitive and technological advantage right out of the gate.”

Over the last month, Google Trends reported enormous growth in searches for “drone” and drone related search terms. 60 Minutes, CNN and the Wall Street Journal have all done recent stories. Drones, or Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) are expected to become a $89 billion dollar industry worldwide in the next decade (CNN via Teal Group). While the “tech” aspect of a drone startup is exciting, Jaffe is particularly driven by the opportunity to showcase and share his selftaught creative vision with the Memphis business community. Aaron’s late mother Lisa attended Memphis State as an Art Major and his father Hal Jaffe has been a well known local photographer in the Memphis area for some time. I grew up in a creative household and it definitely influenced my vision,“ he said. “I earned my MSBA from Memphis in ’08 and since then I’ve held leadership positions in both the startup and marketing industries.
