Mirri partners with Brand It Furniture to create metallic chairs and tables for events

READING, U.K. - July 21, 2014 - PRLog -- Working with David Bartlett, Owner of Brand It Furniture, the team at Mirri have produced a set of metallic chairs and tables for use at events and POS campaigns.

David Bartlett is a renowned designer and cardboard engineer and studied design at the Royal College of Art along side artists such as David Hockney, Zandra Rhodes and Terrance Conran. David has worked on commissions with many major names such as Philip Treacy and Alexander McQueen.

This stunning metallic furniture has been created with MirriNor Display material, a joint venture between Smurfit Kappa Sheetfeeding, and Mirri, a leading worldwide brand of metallic laminated board and paper. The metallic corrugated material is designed to be incredibly strong and is perfect to make furniture.

This metallic furniture has a wide scope of possibilities and can be produced in large or small quantities. Jennifer Deacon Marketing Manager at Mirri, a division of Celloglas, commented; “The stylish chairs and tables could be used as branded furniture at events such as music concerts, exhibitions, parties, weddings or used as branded POS in cafés or retail outlets”.

The furniture itself is extremely light and arrives flat packed, then with a few simple moves the chairs and tables are ready to be used. After use the furniture can be disposed of or re-used.

David Bartlett, Owner at Brand It Furniture commented; “By using MirriNor Display metallic material the chairs are not only strong, they are also very decorative and stylish, making them desirable for premium or major brands to use them as POS or as branded furniture at events.”

David added “Imagine if a major drinks brand sponsored an event and was able to brand chairs and tables where customers sit and consume their products. This would be a fantastic opportunity, as the chairs are both unusual and very attractive, plus a practical fixture at an event”.

The furniture can either be branded by printing the items digitally, screen or litho, or an alternative method is to place branded stickers on the chairs and tables, that could be re-peelable, making them ready for another event occasion.
