FutureCard wins tender from Roads and Transport Authority(RTA) for the supply of 9million Nol cards

FutureCard the UAE-based expert in design, manufacture and customisation of all types of smart-cards announced today that it was awarded a contract with RTA for the supply of 9 million Nol smart-cards.
BUSINESS BAY, UAE - July 20, 2014 - PRLog -- Within the framework of a public call for tender process FutureCard was selected out of five vendors for the supply of RFID “fare” cards which can be used to pay for travel on the metro, buses, water buses and paid parking provided by RTA. The contract is effective as of July 1st 2014 covering a period of two years as well as re-affirms FutureCard’ positioning in the field of smart cards. In an industry where references and expertise play a key role in the award of newcontracts, FutureCard has already established itself globally with banking,telecom and other similar government card projects.
