Kiwanis Club Of Greater Brandon Announces Ice Cream Social

BRANDON, Fla. - July 18, 2014 - PRLog -- Brandon , FL, July 17, 2014– Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon invites everyone in community to mark the calendar and plan to come eat as much Ice Cream as desired Saturday, September 6, 2014, Noon - 5 PM at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay 213 N Knights Ave. Brandon, FL. "Blue Bell Creameries" has donated enough Ice Cream for 500 children and their parents.

Clarkia Dennis, President of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon explains, "It will be a day full of family fun and entertainment, featuring "musical performances by local youth talent."

The cost will be $5 for children and $8 for adults.

Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers whose mission is to improve the world one child and one community at a time

. The Kiwanis Club of Greater Brandon is committed to serving the needs of the children of Eastern Hillsborough County. The Club supports well-known programs in the schools such as "Terrific Kids", "K-Kids" and "Key Clubs".

Money to support these programs comes from special fund raising events such as the ICE CREAM SOCIAL and 100 % of net Proceeds go directly to the programs
