By: Carlisle Events Kids love trucks! This event welcomes over 2,000 trucks of all sizes while playing host to nearly 40,000 guests. The event will feature daily monster truck shows with the Virginia Giant taking on XXX State of Destruction driven by lady truck driver, Chrissy Moler. Chrissy’s daughter Katelyn will be joining her with her very own mini monster truck named Pandora! This fun isn’t just for the boys so bring the girls and cheer for girl power as Chrissy and Katelyn take on the Giant! In addition to enjoying the trucks and rigs, show goers can partake in things like Sky Fall (an open platform where a participant jumps into a large air bag), a Zip Line, a Mechanical Bull and a Super Slide in the Phantom Fun Zone. PA Bungy will be offering SKYBOUNCE, a trampoline harness ride sure to get the adrenaline pumping. Berg Bikes will be offering test drives of their 4 wheeler bicycles for children of all ages in their inflatable courses too while R/C action will be on hand with the No Limit R/C club of Pennsylvania running a regional North vs. South competition at Carlisle. Additional activities include a kids-themed scavenger hunt on Friday ONLY. This will see kids onsite following clues from one place to another on grounds. Prizes will be awarded. There will also be a “bonus clue” once completed that takes the kids to the Bosler Library in downtown Carlisle. For the younger truck enthusiasts, be sure to visit Kids at Carlisle. This area has a swing set, bounce house, video games, arts, crafts and even some automotive-themed challenges. Kids at Carlisle is also offering free toy cars and other goodies each day to a limited amount of visitors. The first 200 signing in on Friday and Saturday get a toy truck, with the first 100 on Sunday receiving the same. Additional fees apply for rides, games and competitions with tickets or wristbands required to participate. The No Limit R/C racing is open to participants with registration fees of $20 per class, $15 for an additional vehicle. Otherwise, the Kids at Carlisle area and Sky Bounce Bungee are free with a paid admission to Carlisle.
