Treetop Adventure Park Philadelphia Opens at Elmwood Park Zoo
Treetop Adventure Park Philadelphia features over 60 zip lines and challenge games that allow guests to climb, swing and fly from tree to tree, at heights as high as 40 feet from the ground.
The park includes multiple courses for many ages and skill sets; "The Great Escape” accommodates guests as young as 10 and as old as 70, and features the most challenging games and the most extreme zip lines. It also features zip lines that send guests flying over Elmwood Park Zoo’s bison and elk exhibits.
The “Junior Palooza” course is specially designed for children between the ages of 5 and 9. The course is built no higher than 6 to 8 feet so that parents have the option to accompany their children through the course from the ground below.
Safety is a primary concern at Treetop Adventure Park Philadelphia. The park uses CliC-iT®, a carabiner system that’s included with each guest’s Personal Protection Equipment (PPE). When used as instructed, CliC-iT® ensures that at least one of two carabiners is attached to a safety line at all times while the guest progresses through the course.
Treetop Adventure Park Philadelphia is also adding a new safety system to its Junior Palooza course. By using the Saferoller continuous belay system, children will be able to make their way through the course without ever having to detach and re-attach their carabiners to a lifeline.
Guests who purchase admission to Treetop Adventure Park Philadelphia also receive admission to Elmwood Park Zoo. Members of the Elmwood Park Zoo receive 10% off the price of admission to any Treetop Adventure Park course.
Treetop Adventure Park Philadelphia is open daily, 10 AM to 5 PM. Before and after hours admission is available by reservation only. Guests will be able to book reservations online and find more information at www.tapphilly.com.
