New West Side Business Offers Local Apparel Printing With a Twist

With over five years experience in the t-shirt business founder, Soleiman Bolour, started Paint My Teez as an ethical and local alternative to sweat shops and environmentally damaging printing services. “I wanted to start a local business that gave back to the community in a positive way”, says founder Soleiman Bolour, “and offer a printing service where you know your t-shirts and apparel are manufactured using ethical business practices.         Turning the front room of his store into a painting studio, Soleiman offers t-shirt painting parties. Much like the pottery painting stores, Paint My Teez books t-shirt painting parties for kids, adults, groups and fundraisers. Opening their doors just in time for summer, Paint My Teez wants to be the new go-to store for families and children of all ages. "I believe that each of us is uniquely creative and want to inspire others to express that individuality and be proud of it." States Soleiman,  "What better way to show your unique genius than by wearing your creations on a t-shirt?  I have plans to open ten stores in the next five years and take the idea nationwide.”

        Providing family-friendly painting parties like birthday parties, mom's night out, date night and wine and t-shirt nights, Paint My Teez hopes to fill a niche need offering families creative alternatives to movie night or another  trip to the mall.  "I hear from mothers all the time who are looking for fun, engaging activities for the kids," says Tanya Dorri, marketing associate for Paint My Teez, "I was so thrilled when Soleiman opened the doors and gave me the opportunity to market such a needed local service.
