July 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Access Wireless Data Solutions, today announced it has signed a US distribution agreement with Maestro Wireless Solutions (Maestro), a leading manufacturer of M2M gateways, industrial modems and GNSS receivers.

Access Wireless Data Solutions (AWDS) is a value added distributor and solutions provider with a full spectrum of RF technology products, systems integration, test and certification services as well as cellular data plans to provision M2M devices.  With this new partnership, Access Wireless Data Solutions will add to its portfolio Maestro’s extensive line of industrial modems and services for the Machine-to-Machine (M2M) markets, as well as its very successful GNSS receiver product line.

Every Maestro modem uses as its core Sierra Wireless embedded modules, already supported by Access Wireless Data Solutions. Therefore Maestro certified modems are a quick and straightforward solution for customers willing to wirelessly enable their device without the hassle and cost of long development and certification induced by a module integration.

“Access Wireless Data Solutions is pleased to add Maestro to our comprehensive line of M2M cellular modem based products” commented David Schwarz, President of Access Wireless Data Solutions. He added “Maestro product line provides Access Wireless and our customers with a high quality, feature rich and cost effective family of products designed to address our telemetry and monitoring customer’s needs. Among the many products offered by Maestro we now have a low power serial to HSDPA cellular converter (M1003GXT) that addresses AT&T‘s 2G network sunset and offers a cost effective migration to AT&T’s 3G network.”

“After experiencing five years of constant growth since we entered the North American marketplace, we are pleased to conclude this agreement with Access Wireless Data Solutions. It will further strengthen our distribution network on the east cost and bring on-board a design-led sales team with an optimally synergistic technical and business expertise“ said Olivier Bernard, Maestro’s Executive Vice-President of Business Development. “Access Wireless Data Solutions has distributed M2M technology for over 5 years; it is a natural fit for our cellular modems and routers and in the best interest of their customers.”
