Avalon to become the Best Caribbean Medical School - A milestone here

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - July 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Willemstad, Curacao – Finally, the long awaited day has come. Board members’ delegation of Avalon University from OH, USA have signed a Notary deed for the long leased-land on Friday June 27, 2014 and Avalon has successfully acquired land of around 50,000 sq. meters from the Government of Curacao. This is another milestone in the successful journey of Avalon to becoming one of the Best Caribbean medical schools visit us http://www.avalonu.org This 50,000 sq. meter piece of land will be given in phases. Avalon is moving it’s gears towards the construction project of University building and students dormitory building starting from the end of August 2014 or early September 2014. First Phase of this construction project is scheduled to be finished by September 2015, and this phase will have an accommodation capacity of 300 students on campus which will include a high-tech Anatomy laboratory, Biochemistry Research Laboratory, Pathology and Histology Laboratories and an onsite sophisticated computerized library which can accommodate around 100 -150 students.
This allocated big piece of land is situated in the quite and safe area of Tera Kora (which means Flat Land and very suitable for construction). According to land surveyors, architectures and builders this land is the well balanced mixture of “flat surface” and “solid ground” which gives best environment to build structure quickly.

Along with land, Avalon University has secured finance from overseas to do this massive construction on the island. Finance is secured not only for the first phase but the entire project is approved and finance has been granted for entire construction and other associated expenses.

Avalon University has received tremendous support from the Government of Curacao. With the construction of the new Avalon Campus, it will give a new identity to the west side of the island. At the moment the west side of the island is known for its popular beaches, and now it will be known for having a gorgeous medical school campus with the already existing beautiful surroundings. Along with the new identity to the island, Avalon will bring a positive economic effect on the island.
