By: Flagler Habitat for Humanity The sale will include furniture, appliances, art, antiques and collectibles, household goods and building materials. A wide variety of furniture is available, including sofas, easy chairs, office desks and chairs, occasional tables, china cabinets, entertainment centers, dining room sets and bedroom sets. Building materials include kitchen cabinets, doors and windows. EVERYTHING MUST GO!!! GREAT PRICES!!! This sale gives shoppers the opportunity to browse through our excess inventory and select items to complete their home or office. This year our plans provide for completing new homes for six deserving families, following twenty-two years of building the American Dream for 84 families in Flagler County. Proceeds from this sale will help with this goal. As with the contribution of goods, Habitat for Humanity depends heavily on volunteers. Those who work at the store sort, clean and price the donations that come in, fixing any that need repair. Volunteers also provide customer assistance in the store and work the truck crew, picking up donations and delivering purchases. Still others assist in various office functions, and a large group works on the most visible, and appreciated, effort and the reason for our existence – the construction of new homes for those in need. None of this effort would be possible without the great Habitat volunteers and more are always needed.
