Berentzen Icemint Ice Carving Invitational, Atlantic City Beach to get a “Cool” Down

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - July 15, 2014 - PRLog -- Berentzen USA is excited to announce the inaugural Berentzen Icemint Ice Carving Invitational to be held at the Trump Plaza hotel’s Bar A Beach Bar, located on the Trump Plaza stretch of beach in Atlantic City, NJ on Thursday, July 17th from 3 PM to 5 PM.  Come join this chilly party and cool down on a hot summer day!

The competition will feature professional ice carvers competing in a rapid fire, elimination-style ice carving competition.  Each carver will be given 20 minutes and an ice block to sculpt, with celebrity judges deciding who will remain in the competition for the next round.  Attending spectators will play an active role as well.  Acting judges for the event will be Brian Boucher, former Philadelphia Flyers ice hockey goalie, along with local NBC 40 news station meteorologist Dan Skeldon.  These talented ice carvers will be judged in the categories of originality, technical skill and best integration of Berentzen Icemint.  The carver who accrues the most points though each stage of the competition and finishes atop the standings will win $1,758.00.

Street parking is available for all members of the media, and additional parking may be found in the parking garage affiliated with the Trump Plaza hotel at 2500 Boardwalk, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
