Shaina’s passion for food began to flourish during a period of unemployment after relocating from NJ to Boca Raton, FL. Her days where occupied by watching Food Network, while her evenings were spent in the kitchen testing new recipes. Shaina soon found herself connecting with other local food enthusiasts and created Take a Bite Out of Boca, as a way to share her South Florida food adventures. While the focus of Take a Bite Out of Boca is to provide reviews of local restaurants and bars, Shaina also blogs about her favorite healthy dishes with the occasional indulgent treat. Shaina is routinely invited to review new restaurants and dishes throughout South Florida, and her blog receives over 4,000 page views each month from loyal followers
