NAWBO SJ Announces Speaker for their August Professional Development Event

VOORHEES, N.J. - July 14, 2014 - PRLog -- The National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) of South Jersey is pleased to announce that the guest speaker for their next Professional Development Quarterly (PDQ) event on August 12, 2014 will be Carmen Sognonvi of Urban Martial Arts in Brooklyn, NY.  Sognonvi has been featured in numerous media outlets including Inc, Entrepreneur, Fox Business, and Crain’s New York Business.  Her company, Urban Martial Arts, increased its revenues by 70%, doubled its membership base, and tripled the size of its list utilizing the techniques Sognonvi will be teaching at the PDQ.  Titled “Old School Marketing in the Digital Age”, Sognonvi’s presentation will demonstrate why old-school marketing tactics like flyers, signage and booths are still great ways to reach customers and how to connect them with online tools to create powerful results.
