A Very Grand Removal By Advanced Removals

By: Advanced Removals

July 14, 2014 - PRLog -- Removal and storage company, Advanced Removals helped a customer remove their grand piano by removing their window.

Mr. Beale lived in a second floor flat and called Advanced Removals to see if they could remove his grand piano after a number of companies had already rejected the request.

The piano, which was too large for doorways or corridors, was extracted from the building by removing the window a week before Mr. Beale wanted to move the rest of his belongings. Builders helped Mr. Beale remove the window the morning of the move which helped Advanced Removals extract the instrument easier.

Whilst the window was being removed, the removal company got to work packaging the piano to ensure it was secure from any damage. The south west company also hired specialist boards to protect the surrounding area and gardens as the vehicle they used was equipped with a two-tonne tail lift and the weight could have caused damage to the grass.

This heavy tail-lift acted a platform for the grand piano to help it be manoeuvred safely into the removal van before moving it to its new home.

On such short notice, the move was very successful and efficient which meant Mr. Beale’s piano was safe and secure in his new home in no time at all.
