Douglas Jimerson and the Civil Comrades sing and perform songs of the Civil War at Ft. Stevens, 13th and Georgia Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20011 on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 10:30 AM. This is the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Ft. Stevens.

Don't miss this very special occasion to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Ft. Stevens. At this battle, President Lincoln was nearly struck by a bullet from Confederate gunners under the command of General Jubal Early. President Lincoln was splattered by the blood of the surgeon next to him, who was struck by a Confederate bullet. Historian Ed Bearss is a featured speaker.
