Psychological Thriller

Los Angeles - California - US

LOS ANGELES - July 10, 2014 - PRLog -- From the pristine mansion lined streets of Beverly Hills to the rolling hills of English countryside comes a sweeping tale of deceit and desperation.

Los Angeles, CA July 10, 2014. - Psychotherapist and author Jeff Tannen debuts his psychological thriller 'Transference'. He is currently working on his next novel; a 'send up' of 1970's San Francisco life entitled 'The Barracks'.

Tannen is a local psychotherapist, talk radio guest and frequent blogger. He has been writing 'Transference' over the last 2 years while balancing his private counseling practice and facilitating men's lifestyle groups.

Set in Southern California,' Transference' is a contemporary, psychological, character driven suspense novel: Dr. Gerald Rusk, a psychiatrist is well known by everyone in his community to be a brilliant, award winning clinician. But following his mother's death a storm is gathering. Troubled by new smells and violent memories of war, he is forced to question his worth. All around him, sinister forces gather to undermine his hard earned success and sanity.

The book is available in eBook, softcover and hardcover through Amazon, and Barnes and Nobles.

---The breadth of knowledge Jeff Tannen has is so vast and varied, from deep psychological insight to medicine, to the trappings of sophistication as lived by wealthy and elegant people on both sides of the pond. These characters are my friends, and I miss them already. They are good, bad, fascinatingly flawed and I care about them -says Bettina Lambert, Special Education teacher/psychologist.

Tannen is available for interviews and appearances. For booking presentations, media appearances, interviews and/or book signings:
