-- Limerick, PA –In May 2014, Seniors Helping Seniors (http://www.heart4helpingseniors.com/)
an organization devoted to providing elderly care to seniors living on their own, was honored to receive a “Spirit”award at their regional franchise meeting. The award was granted to Dara and Brad Trout by Sean and Gary Langmuir for special recognition for an amazing year of providing elderly home care. West Chester, Phoenixville, and Collegeville residents may have witnessed a year of growth in services offered from Seniors Helping Seniors. In the past year, Seniors Helping Seniors has grown to support more seniors living independently in their own homes.
Seniors Helping Seniors, as the name suggests, does whatever it takes to help seniors live independently and offers loving, caring, compassionate care while still maintaining dignity and respect. According to the Seniors Helping Seniors website, the organization provides a wide range of services including, “Companionship, Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, Transportation to Doctor’s Visits, Shopping/Errands, Dementia Care, 24-hour Care, Personal Grooming and Dressing, Mobility Assistance, and even small home repairs and yard work…plus more!” Seniors are fully capable of taking care of themselves, but everyone at one point or another requires a little assistance. Seniors Helping Seniors’services are unique because all of the caregivers are active seniors themselves.
Co-owner of Seniors Helping Seniors, Dara Trout, has cared for her aging mother who suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for over a decade. This experience inspired Dara Trout, and her husband Brad Trout, to help other families who require care. Since then, Seniors Helping Seniors has been providing all their clients with the same care and help they would give their own families.
