DLCS Announces Technology Revolutionizing Dermatopathology

DAYTON, Ohio - July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- Dermatopathology Laboratory of Central States (DLCS), an anatomic pathology and molecular diagnostics laboratory, is announcing the release of a revolutionary dermatopathology technology, Clearpath Scope, a digital pathology software solution that is custom built for dermatologists. With the Clearpath Scope technology and validation process, primary diagnosis in dermatopathology is now a reality.

This innovative app has many features including the ability to: read biopsy slides within hours of specimen arrival at DLCS, re-submit cases for consult, and rely on DLCS to store client slides with glass slides available upon request. “This ground-breaking app will drastically reduce turnaround time, allowing the dermatologist to provide quick and accurate diagnoses,” said Dr. Joel Crockett, dermatologist and creator of the Clearpath app.  “The system allows DLCS to handle the paperwork and slide storage logistics, freeing the dermatologist to focus on doing what they do best – treating patients.”
