HURRICANE, Utah - July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- John Dee and Austin Morton, Diamond Ranch Academy (DRA) alums, teamed up at this year’s Utah Foster Care Chalk Art Festival to represent the school as participating artists. Over the course of two days, the pair worked to create a large-scale mural alongside 150 other artists at the Gateway Mall in Downtown Salt Lake City. Their work earned them 1st place for their interpretation of the festival’s foster care theme. Instructors from DRA’s art department also participated in the event, earning 1st place in People’s Choice thanks to the votes of festival spectators.

All proceeds from the annual Utah Foster Care Chalk Art Festival go toward the Utah Foster Care Fund.
