WENATCHEE, Wash. - July 8, 2014 - PRLog -- ApRecs Watch™ offers Packers, Shippers, Processors (PSP) the ability to develop a set of lists or parameters that they wish to comply with. Often associated with the EU, Codex or U.S. MRLs together with other various other market requirements, the PSP can add or modify multiple lists as well as segment them by Producer/Grower, Crop, Variety as well as add rate and date filters. ApRecs then uses this customized compliance requirements list to review all recommendation and application records within the PSP’s ApRecs Portal for compliance.  Watch will be a component of the ApRecs PSP Awareness Package, Module #2 and though available now will be introduced on July 16th, 2014 with orientation that morning via an online discussion format.

Drew Zabrocki, Managing Director and Product Manager of ApRecs said, “We had Product Watch last year and this year it’s evolved to a module of itself simply called Watch. What we do is every morning and each afternoon, ApRecs automatically reviews all recommendations and application records within that PSPs account and identifies violations.  If there’s an item of concern, we tabulate it as an alert with the detailed record and what is of concern and send it in an immediate e-mail notification. Our Processor Partners have full control over their lists and alerts; they can filter and slice and dice, and sort and analyze or export right there in their ApRecs Portal. We enable our Packers to take that information, to categorize it based on their degree or their assessment, whether they acknowledge it or they wish to redirect a certain set of fruit based on the information that they’re able to determine from those reports.”

To accelerate adoption and implementation, Align will be introduced via the ApRecs Packer Café (http://packercafe.com). The Packer Café is an online discussion forum for participating Packers, Shippers and Processor (PSP). The participating PSPs, ApRecs Staff and other industry veterans submit ideas, comment on discussions and share their experiences. Joe Dager, Director of Business Development at ApRecs says, “The Packer Café provides us added insights over a diverse group that enables to accelerate PSPs adoption and implementation of products.” Registered participants will be able to attend on July 16th at 8:00 AM PST for a cup of virtual coffee at the PackerCafe.com, and learn about ApRecs Watch™.

ApRecs provides simple to use, food safety record keeping solutions so that Growers can focus on growing, Packers can ship to market quickly and Marketers can be reassured of a compliant product. Our solutions include an online website, mobile apps and paper forms that make it easy to track spray records, applicators, and equipment and location maps in a simple and secure manner. Our software is built to read reports from the leading Recommendation and Application Record keeping applications so you don’t have to manually re-key data. Further, the data analysis module allows for receiving, processing and post-harvest data to be included, analyzed and reported in near-real-time.
