MOGA – Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association Welcomes Dr. Jason Williams

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- The physicians of Memphis Obstetrics and Gynecological Association, PC (MOGA) are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Jason Williams to their medical staff.

According to Dr. Aric Giddens, President of the practice:  “Dr. Williams comes to us with strong credentials as a graduate of the University of Tennessee School of Medicine. He was recently named co-recipient of the Outstanding Resident in Gynecology award, and is a product of our own community as a graduate of Houston High School.”

Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2004 with a B.S. in Chemistry.  During his college tenure, he also spent a semester at Curtin University in Perth, Australia, through a study-abroad program.  He obtained his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2010 and recently completed his residency.

Dr. Williams grew up in a healthcare-focused family.  His father works as a pulmonologist and his mother was a NICU nurse.  He has a son who is ten years old, and enjoys attending his soccer and basketball games.  Additionally, he enjoys mountain bike riding, running, sailing, and following the University of Tennessee’s football and basketball teams.  His favorite travel destination is the Caribbean.

Regarding his new position, Williams states:  “I am really excited to have this opportunity to practice medicine in my home city.  Along with treating basic women’s healthcare needs, I am hoping to address issues of infertility that I encounter.  This is an area of particular interest that many families are facing.”
