Encasement’s Forma casings chosen for ‘The Galleria’ retail centre in Hatfield

PETERBOROUGH, U.K. - July 7, 2014 - PRLog -- Stainless steel Forma column casings from Encasement are helping maintain the high quality shopping environment for customers at The Galleria in Hatfield following the recent interior refurbishment and upgrading of the 304,000 sq.ft retail centre.

Located on the A1(M), The Galleria is owned by leading property company, Land Securities, and originally opened in 1991. The retail development now covers a 20-acre site with well over 80 major designers brands and food retailers located at the centre.

The 700mm square Forma casings are manufactured using 2mm thick 304 grade stainless steel with a brushed finish to provide an aesthetic and durable solution to conceal structural columns located in The Galleria’s South entrance foyer.

Each Forma casing stands 3600mm high, including two 100mm collars at ground and ceiling level, to provided a perfect fit and finish to the installation, while also incorporating flush fitting metal joints to give a smooth surface to the casings.

Encasement’s Forma column casings casing was selected for this project due to their ability to not only for their aesthetic appeal, but also their durability, which enables them to withstand scuffs and damage in high traffic areas.
