101 THINGS TO DO IN BUDAPEST

As founder of thehostelgirl.com travel blog, I spent seven months living in, working in, and falling in love with Budapest. To promote a city I believe to still be a hidden jewel for many travellers, I have written 101 Things To Do In Budapest, including a brief history, a three-day itinerary, descriptions on eighty-five of the 101 sights and activities listed, and suggestions from other travellers who have loved the city.

Readers of my blog have previously reacted positively to my reviews and anecdotes from my time spent in Budapest, and downloads have already begun for the guidebook after it’s release on Saturday, 5th July 2014.

As hostel staff, I had plenty of free time to explore the city and encourage our guests to do the same. All long-term staff eventually become, in essence, walking guidebooks, and our love for the city shines through whenever we can pass on valuable city secrets, or learn more from the locals.

I left my job in Budapest in May 2014, but I can’t seem to let the city go and the memories the city gave me were enough to inspire this guidebook and the story told within.
