“Kid’s Day Off” Expo to Showcase Activities and Resources for East Valley Families

CHANDLER, Ariz. - July 6, 2014 - PRLog -- East Valley families will have the chance to explore after-school and other programs for boys and girls at “Kid’s Day Off” on Saturday, August 16, from 9 am – 3 pm at the Crown Plaza San Marco Golf Resort Hotel at One San Marcos Place in Downtown Chandler.  The event is a presentation of Macaroni Kid of Chandler and Queen Creek/San Tan Valley and is free to the public.

“Kid’s Day Off” will feature music, prizes and activities by Radio Disney from 10 am – 2 pm, live entertainment on two stages, dance and martial arts demonstrations, an ice cream eating contest, performances by Arizona Rick and the Bang Bang Balloon Company, a Parent’s Time Out area with complimentary massages, vendor exhibits and giveaways.  For information, call (480) 599-5044 or email garyk@macaronikid.com.

Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase raffle tickets to win prizes donated by local businesses. Proceeds of the raffle will benefit ICAN, a Chandler-based nonprofit that provides free programs to empower kids to be productive, self-confident and responsible members of the community.
