Fashion Speaks Presents LAULYP's 3rd Annual LA-IN-A-DAY FASHION Show

LOS ANGELES - July 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Just as the summer heats up, the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals (LAULYP) is excited to collaborate with Fashions Speaks to present its’ 3^rd Annual LA-In-A-Day Fashion Show. This glamorous event willtake place on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 (7 pm – 10 pm) at the posh Supperclub located at 6675 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

“LA-In-A-Day”will feature collections from the city’s hottest couture designers and urban trendsetters, with music by DJ Dense. Partial proceeds from this event will be donated to support the youth empowerment programs of LA-based nonprofit, C.L.I.M.B., Inc. Make-up and cosmetics are being donated by Ashley Reed of Mary Kay and fabulous hair creations are being donated by the luxury salon Hair Republic located in Hesperia, California.

Leo Breckenridge, actor from Days of Our Lives and LAULYP member, Sharick LaMay will host the night. Ethno Nightlife, Tahir Moore, and the Chundria Show are all confirmed to cover interviews of celebrity guests, industry insiders, models, stylists and more.

LAULYP President Abby Harris says, “With the production of this 3^rd installment, we remain firm in our commitment to provide a prominent stage for young designers to showcase their talents.” Guests will be taken through L.A. fashion in a day—“from the beach, to the streets, to the office suites” with displays by Drobe, Zalez Studio, J. Loren, Krammer & Stoudt, Nour Amini, Merlin Castell, Diamond Doll Collection featuring Vivica Fox and Alex Vinashand the return of fan favorites – Candy Coated Swimwear and Nikki Kouture. A live model display during the intermission will feature Cricket Wireless devices and local designs by JunkBox.

This event is 21+ only and will sell out quickly. A limited number of advance $20 tickets are available for purchase online at http://www.lainadayfashion.com through June 30th. The ticket price will increase to $30 on July 1^st.
