Alchemy Global Announces Addition of Steve Flanagan To Its Management Team As Operating Partner

CHARLESTON, S.C. - July 3, 2014 - PRLog -- Alchemy Global, the first crowdfunding platform in the Sports and Entertainment market matching accredited investors with growth companies, today announced that sports industry veteran Steve Flanagan has joined their management team as an operating partner, and has made an investment in the business.  Flanagan is currently President/CEO of Marketing:Wise llc, where he assists clients with revenue strategy and development in the areas of sports, entertainment and lifestyle marketing on a global basis. He will continue in that role as well as advising Alchemy Global and its partners.

Steve Flanagan has over 25 years of executive management experience leading new media, internet and entertainment companies from start-up stage to IPO's and beyond.  He has also been on the Board of Directors (Chairman) for Prologue Capital for the past eight years; one of the top fixed income hedge funds in the world with offices in London, Greenwich , CT and Miami. From  2003 to  2006, he was co-head of  the Properties Division at Octagon Worldwide, a leading global sports marketing organization which he subsequently spun off.  From 2001 through  2003, Steve served as Executive Vice President at Clear Channel Entertainment running the New York office and before that, starting in  1999, he held executive management positions  at CMGI based in Andover Mass.  He has also held executive management positions with CBS Sportsline, where he acted as the lead person in charge of integrating television & digital assets to maximize revenue around such marquee properties as : Winter Olympics-Nagano, March Madness & Final Four, College basketball, College football regular season and bowls and The Masters golf tournament.
