BLVD Hotel in Costa Mesa cuts ribbon on new location with Mayor, City Council, State Senate and Assembly members present
 
COSTA MESA, Calif. - July 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Costa Mesa, CA, July 3, 2014– BLVD Hotel, the latest of the BLVD Hotels’ Southern California properties, hosted a ribbon cutting at its Costa Mesa location.  The ribbon cutting took place on Thursday, June 26 from 12 – 2 PM.  The event, in concert with the Costa Mesa Chamber of Commerce, was an opportunity for the local business community to meet the staff, see the property and learn more about the brand.

Attendees enjoyed networking opportunities, tours of the facilities, goody bags with BLVD swag, a raffle, catered food from Green Leaf Chop shop and freshly pressed juices from Amala Juices.  Guest also had the opportunity to meet the owners of this hotel, as well as various management personnel for the brand.

The guest list included an array of business leaders, Costa Mesa Chamber ambassadors and leadership, city council members, city mayor and staff, as well as representative from the state senate and assembly.  In attendance on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce was the Membership Director, Tom Brennan, who led the ribbon cutting photo op.  From the City Council, there were three council members present, along with the Mayor Jim Righeimer and Mayor Pro-tem, Stephen Mensinger.  Representatives from California State Senator Mimi Walter’s and California State Assembly Member Allan Monsoor’s office were in attendance, along with Costa Mesa CEO, Tom Hatch, City Financial Analyst, Dan Baker and the President of Costa Mesa’s Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, Paulette Lombardi-Fries.

Mayor Jim Righeimer, Scott Piotter (from Assemblyman Allan Monsoor’s office) and Cecilia Iglesias (from California State Senator Mimi Walter’s office) presented the hotel ownership with certificates of recognition, and expressed their joy with the hotels mark in the community.

The hotel, which will conclude its final construction later in the year, will host a larger grand opening for the community at large in late December.
