Nina Kovner Tells MASTERS Audio Club Why She Left Paul Mitchell VP Post and Started Passion Squared
Nina L. Kovner went from hairdresser to VP of marketing for the Paul Mitchell hair care brand—and then walked away from it all. Interviewed by Winn Claybaugh, Nina shares the importance of being true to yourself and to your own passions.
At a point that most would consider the height of success, Nina walked away from it all. In 2011, she cofounded Passion Squared, a passion project focused on empowering awesomeness in people and businesses in the professional beauty and wellness communities. With a fervor for both personal and small business development, Nina now spends her days engaging one-on-one with salon owners and wellness professionals, as well as hosting workshops and webinars in the areas of personal development, online and offline marketing, strategy, and awesomeness creating.
Her most recent accomplishment is by far one of her proudest: self-publishing her first book titled Follow Your HEART: A Journey in Discovering Your Authentic Awesomeness.
