Coniel Introduces Beta Of New Learning Management System From Finland

July 2, 2014 - PRLog -- Coniel Ltd, a fresh ambition of students from Finland to change the education technology industry, introduces the beta of its cloud-based learning management system (LMS). Designed with a focus on student engagement, Coniel.com allows teachers to easily create, manage and deliver their courses online. As of today Coniel is free of charge and available in three languages: English, Finnish and Russian.

Coniel was started by a couple of university students who, as they say, “got fed up” with the current state of educational software. Instead, they have built the learning platform from a strong students’ perspective: modern, cozy and highly social.

“Education is highly social by nature, and yet, the online learning environments of today feel like a desolate landscape,” says Oscar Coniel, co-founder and CEO. “So, we asked ourselves: what can we create using today’s technology, if we started with nothing but a blank slate, our needs, desires and imagination?”

Coniel was started in the spring of 2013 in Finland, an exemplary country in the learning community, with the help of educators and active contributors from all over the world. Members of the core team are alumni of a global youth leadership organization. The philosophy of the company states its main proposal for modern educators: “Work less. Teach more”.
